A Very Quick Trick- This is Morgan & West's use of the nest of bottles prop, you'll never look at them the same way again!
Colour Everywhere!- A multi-phase routine involving changing pictures, dual reality for children(!), pulling colour from objects, all finishing up with a colour changing costume.
The Bullet Catch!- A bullet catch for kids with a toy bang gun. Eight minutes of nonsense and wonder from the smallest and simplest of props.
Sacculo est Ovum!- Get kids involved with this multi-phase egg bag routine. Part 1 the kid does the magic. Part 2 is 14 coloured eggs from one bag. Part 3 the bag turns into an egg. Perfect to get them shouting along.
Who are they?
Morgan & West met doing a play while studying at Oxford and quickly decided the best use of their time was pretending to be from the past. The duo began performing magic on stage together far sooner than anyone would advise, and have been doing so ever since. In the years since starting out they have done magic shows in every venue imaginable – bars, night clubs, village halls, tents, front rooms and decommissioned battle ships. They are now full time stage magicians, performing hundreds of shows a year in theatres up and down the UK. You may have seen them on Penn & Teller: Fool Us more than once, as well as The Next Great Magician (ITV1, UK) and The Slammer (CBBC, UK), but the chaps are most at home on the stage, where they create magic show both for adults and children. They are known for baffling methods, clever twists on classics, grand theatrical staging and no small amount of silliness.
Morgan & West started doing children's magic shows in 2015, because they had never seen one they liked. Big fans of children's theatre they felt that magic for children could still be strong and fooling whilst being fun, and could entertain the adults in the audience just as much as the children. The duo set out to write a kids' magic show unlike the world had ever seen, starting with classic tricks and presentations which they then twisted, expanded and reworked to be bigger, more baffling, and better than ever before. These tricks have been performed hundreds of time in front of tens of thousands of children (and their parents) in theatres all over the UK, and Morgan & West have finely honed their material to get the maximum entertainment value for all ages of viewer.
