Most passes are extremely unnatural looking. If you ask a spectator to add two halves of the deck together and square up the packs it would take them less than 2 seconds. Unfortunately when a magician attempts to do the same the hands are often together for way too long for such a simple action.

That’s the beauty of the Carousel Pass, every moment is motivated and the second the packs are squared up the hands separate.
